Das Leben ist keine Wunscherfüllungsmaschiene / The fault in our Stars

Hey folks..

Wer meinem Instagram folgt hat sicherlich mit bekommen dass ich "Das Schicksal ist ein mieser Verräter" oder wie das Buch auf Englisch heißt: "The fault in our Stars" von John Green gelesen hab.
Das Buch wurde schon lange im Netz gehyped. Ich hatte keinen blassen Schimmer um was es in diesem Buch geht, ich habe es des Autors wegen gekauft. Die vorherigen Werke von John Green sind sehr witzig und tragisch zu gleich geschrieben, das mag ich.

Nachdem ich das Buch gekauft hab, las ich die ersten Sätze und hab es schnell wieder weg gelegen, da es Krebs bei Kinder/Jugendlichen thematisiert. Ich musste leider die schmerzliche Erfahrung machen, dass es einen Fall in meiner Familie gab, nicht bei einem Kind aber dennoch sehr schmerzlich. So wollte ich das Buch erst nicht lesen, hab mich aber überwunden.

Das Buch erzählt die Geschichte von Hazel die unter Schilddrüsenkrebs leidet. In einer Selbsthilfegruppe lernt sie Gus kennen, der vermeidlich vom Krebs geheilt ist. Gus schenkt Hazel seinen Herzenswunsch und läd sie nach Amsterdam ein um ihren Lieblingsautor kennen zu lernen.  Doch nach der Zeit in Amsterdam kommt alles anders als gedacht.

Ich muss sagen ich habe schon lange nicht mehr ein so schönes Buch gelesen. Die Beziehung zwischen Gus und Hazel ist so dramatisch schön beschrieben. Meine Tränen konnte ich nicht verbergen aber dennoch ging es mir nicht schlecht danach. Ich dachte nur dass das Leben einfach unfair ist. Wie so schön gesagt wird DAS LEBEN IST KEINE WÜNSCHEERFÜLLUNGSMASCHIENE!
John Green hat ein Händchen für schöne und zugleich tragische Geschichten. Wer "Eine wie Alaska" kennt  weiss wo von ich spreche.

I read the fault in our stars by John Green. As you might know the Book was very hyped by the internet. I bought it because I like John Green and his books. I didn't knew anything about the book. So I read the first page and I was like: I-am-not-going-to-read-this. The book is about Children/Youngsters who have Cancer. 
The story is about Hazel who has Cancer. In a Cancer-Suport-Group she met Gus,who win over his Bonecancer. He gave her his hearted wish from the Make-a-Wish-Foundation. And they travel to Amsterdam to meet Hazels favorite writer. But after their time in Amsterdam, things never come out the way they expected.
This book is the sadest and the nicest book I have ever read. It gave me time to thing about life and its unfairness. I cried a lot during the las 100 pages. But I didn't feel sad in a bad way.

Das Buch hat mich sehr zum nachdenken gebracht, ich würde gerne eure Meinung dazu hören falls ihr es gelesen habt.

When the day seems lost from the stars..

hey folks...

Wie das Bild oben schon sagt, musst du deinem Herzen folgen (Bild ist natürlich von mir aber schon circa 4-5 Jahre alt). 

Ich dachte ich erzähl euch mal wieso ich seit nun mehr 3 Wochen nichts mehr gepostet habe. Also das ist so ich hab zur Zeit etwas Stress. Ihr kennt das sicher alles ist zu viel und ihr findet keine Zeit für irgendwas. So ging es mir auch die letzten 3 Wochen. Ich kam einfach zu nichts, war krank plus ich hatte irgendwie keine Motivation/Inspiration. Die wenige Zeit die ich finden konnte nutze ich fürs Lesen. Selbst fürs fotografieren fehlte mir die Muse. Ich hoffe meine Durststrecke ist nun hiermit offiziell beendet. Ich hab einige Buchrezessionen geplant und ein paar Outfits. Also ihr dürft gespannt sein.

Und zum Dank an meine Leser gibts zum Schluss noch mein Lieblingslied of all time.

You must follow your heart...I am sorry but life is so stressful currently. I had no time, no inspriation and motivation to blog. 

BUT I think I found my inspiration and motivation again. I want to make some book reviews and some outfit posts. Thank you all for being my followers <3 here is my favorite song for you.

Folklore 2012!

Hey Folks..

Heute habe ich ein kleinen Post über das Folklore Festival in Wiesbaden. I'm sorry das es jetzt erst kommt, aber ich war krank und konnte nicht wirklich viel machen.

 Die Karten besorgte mein Freund für uns, er hat es zufälligerweise im Radio gehört. 

Meine Freundin und ich wohnen nur ca. 60 Minuten von Wiesbaden entfernt. So habe ich mich bereit erklärt zu fahren (ich bin eh nicht so der Alkohol-Trinker von daher machte mir das nichts aus). Wir fuhren gegen 14 Uhr los und waren gegen 15 Uhr da. Parkplatzsuche war null Problem. 

Mein Erster Eindruck war richtig gut. Viele Alternative Stände. Viel zu sehen. Und die Location war einfach geil. Alle die den Schlachthof in Wiesbaden kennen werden wissen wie schön verranzt und abgefuckt es dort ist. 

I was at the Folklore Festival in Wiesbaden. We got there by car,  it was really easy because it's just about 60 minutes away. The Tickets was a present from my boyfriend. The first impression was pretty good. The Location was awesome. 

Zum Line-up kann ich nur sagen GEIL GEIL GEIL.

Wir waren die meiste zeit an der Parkbühne und dort haben wir  OKTA LOGUE und BONAPART gesehen. Beide waren echt gut. Vorallem BONAPARTE haben mich beeindruckt. Die Bühnenshow war sehr sehr originell.

Nach Bonaparte und nach längerem warten, hieß es dann "der druck steigt". Casper kam auf die Bühne und ich muss sagen er hat mich umgehauen. Wahnsinn. Dieser Mann ist einfach WAHNSINN. 

The Head-Liner Casper is my all time favorite alternative Rap artist. 

Das Sahnehäubchen dieses sehr sehr gelungenen Abends war Timid Tiger. Eine der Bands wieso ich überhaupt aufs Folklore wollte. Die Band macht Musik die ich nicht beschreiben kann. Aber sie sind verdammt gut. Was ich an ihnen mag, sie haben einen kleinen Indischen touch.

Festival Time!

Hey Folks...

Ich muss euch sagen ich bin voller Vorfreude, denn ich werde morgen auf das Folklore Festival nach Wiesbaden fahren. War eher eine Spontane Idee von meinem Freund, der für mich und meine Freundin Karten besorgt hat. Wie ihr oben sehen könnt ist das Line-up sehr gemischt. Mich reizt eigentlich nur Timid Tiger und natürlich Casper. Kraftklub auch aber die spielen ja leider Freitags. Casper spielte im Juni auf dem Wetzlarer Hessentag, hab ich aber leider verpasst und bin nun um so glücklicher ihn jetzt doch endlich mal live zu sehen.

Da ich nur ein Tag auf dem Festival sein werde, fällt das Gepäck kleiner aus. Hier seht ihr was du auf-gar-keinen-fall-absolut-und-nicht vergessen solltest wenn du auf ein Festival gehst:

1. Einwegkamera (macht tolle Analoge Fotos und man muss seine teure nicht mit nehmen)

2. Lomo + Film 

3. Deo und Handgel zum Desinfizieren (sehr praktisch, auch für versiffte WCs)

4. Snacks 

5. Haarband (für die Perfekte Festival-Frisur)

6. ne Mate (optional, für Hipster ein muss ;))

Sonst natürlich Geldbeutel, Handy und alles was man sonst so immer dabei hat.

Und dann wird alles Perfekt!

Hey folks...

Heute möchte ich euch einen meiner Lieblingsmusiker Schrägstrich Schauspieler vorstellen, 

den Waliser 

Iwan Rheon. 

Das erste mal sah ich den gutausehenden Schauspieler in der Fernsehserie Misfits. Eine wirklich gute Serie, ähnlich wie Skins aber dennoch besonders anders. Eine "Macke" von mir ist wenn ich irgendwelche Schauspieler in Filmen oder Serien sehe google ich sie, um andere Filme oder Serien mit diesem Schauspieler zu finden. So tat ich es auch mit Iwan Rheon und fand heraus das er auch Musik macht. 

Ich hörte ein Lied und war verliebt. 

Er hat so viel Seele und Bedeutung in seinen Texten und seinen Melodien. Wahrscheinlich wird es den meisten nicht gefallen, weil es eine sehr spezielle Stimme hat. 

Dazu kommt sein meiner Meinung nach toller Walisischer Akzent der seinen Lieder einen gewissen Touch gibt. Aber genug der vielen Worte hört es euch selbst an.

I saw him first in the Tv show Misfits. As you British people might know. I googled him and found out that he is a musician too.  And what can I say, I felt in love with him. He is special and I love that.

Back from Cologne.

Hey Folks..

I am so sorry for not blogging. But I have some days off and was just very busy. I've been to cologne. 3 days. with my boyfriend. It was soo nice and we had a great time there.

We ate a lot and we went shopping. I didn't buy much just a bikini top and a shirt from H&M, and a pair of shoes.

 The Hotel was awesome, especially the breakfast buffet. I always love the litte sweets they give 

you.

 We had a very nice vapiano lunch.

 He bought a locker to put it on the bridge, so romantic <3.

Outfit I wore the other day

Cologne at night. It is sooo nice. I love it especially the "Dom".  

   We went to a park for a little walk and some beers. The weather was so nice. I really enjoyed my time.

We ate so much. The best thing we ate was the burger at HANS IM GLUECK.

What I have done..

Hey folks...

Yesterday me and my boyfriend went to Frankfurt. I just live 30 minutes away from this gorgeous city but we normally don't go there often because we always spend lot of money there. I love the city because there are shops like Lush, super huge H&M store, a Primark (but I prefer the one near my hometown, because its less full and it's really enjoying shopping there then in Frankfurt) and there is an Urban Outfitters.

                       

I am sorry for not taking so much photos but the weather was bad and I wasn't in the mood to take some pictures, 

I went to Lush, it always smells very nice. So I ask them if they have room fragrances but they just have those bath bombs. The women in there was so friendly and said I could melt those bombs into a bowl of water and put it in my room. And so I bought one of those lovely bath bombs. I also bought some other stuff I will review for you later. 

After Lush we went to Hollister. I know this brand from england and from the web. But wasn't really interested. My boyfriend wanted to look after the polo shirts. I never went to a store before, so I didn't had a clue what the shop will look like. We expected a normal shop like all the others. With a normal entry and a normal atmosphere. So we couldn't find the shop at the first time. We both was just wondering why there was a really long queue before a beach house looking thing. After several minutes we realize that was Hollister. I find it really ridiculous to get in a line for a shop. But we thought: let's do this maybe it is worth waiting. After 15-20 minutes waiting a really nice looking "store model" how the shop assistants where call there, said that we now can enter the shop. First impression why the hell is it soo dark in there and why the hell is it smelling so badly. It was extremely full, so I knew why there was a line in front of the shop. My boyfriend was just looking after the polos which where really nice and kind of a bargain. The other men clothing where ok, but nothing special mostly very ordinary, so are the women clothing. It's not my style. 

We wanted to pay but there was a really really long line and we have to wait almost half an hour. The sellers where speaking english in germany, which I think is really stupid. After all I think this is so ridiculous and I will never get in there.

Then we went to Urban Outfitters I found a nice shirt which was in the sale and a necklace. I will show you all the stuff later. I was just on the first floor because I was a bit exhausted. 

Afterwards we went to IKEA to buy some home suplies. 

It was such a nice day but also soo stressfull

Hey folks..

Sorry for the lack of posts but I had a week full of appointments. Also I turned 23 on thursday.Yeah a year older again, but it was a lovely day. I had a day off, my boyfriend visited me before work and he gave me this lovely floral bouquet and a nice cake. It was so nice.

I got some really nice presents. Mostly Books and a DVD, from my colleagues I got a voucher for H&M.

The rest of the day I spent on shopping which was awesome. I found so many nice things. I will show you them in another post. Also I bought myself an ESSIE NAIL POLISH my first essie.

Later that day my friend visited me with a little cake and a venus flytrap. I love those plants. 

In the end it was a very nice day although I am a year older now.

What I have done today

Hey folks...
Yesterday I was downtown. I wanted to go to the food market and have a little sneak into the shops. I went to H&M and bought a shorts, a shirt and a playsuit. The shorts are black and really comfy, I was looking after shorts like that long time ago and finally find one. I wil show you them later. The Playsuit is white with laces...but it's kind of see trough and i am not sure if I keep it. Maybe I will give it back and take the black one. After that I have been to the food market and bought some lettuce. I love going to the food market...the quality is amazing and the vegetables and the fruits are more tasty then in supermarkets. I tasted Bubble Tea for the second time. The first time it was gross. But this time I tried Black Tea with Lemon and Mango Bubbles it was really good.
I had some shots on my Nikon FE2 left, so I took some pictures of our botanical garden. I think it's the loveliest one in Germany. I hope you all enjoy the pictures. Have a nice weekend.
